The teaser of actor Yash’s upcoming film ‘KGF Chapter-2’ has so far received over 147 million views on YouTube. Its teaser was released on January 7, a day before Yash’s birthday. Since then, the teaser of this film has broken many records in terms of views. But now Yash may have to remove the teaser of his film from all social media platforms. Because the film’s teaser shows a smoking scene of Yash. The Karnataka State Anti-Tobacco Cell has sent a notice to the film’s hero Yash, director Prashant Neel and producer Vijay Kirgandur.
Anti-smoking warning message not given in the scene
According to the report, the anti-Tobacco cell has sent the notice for the reason that the makers have not given the anti-smoking warning message in the smoking scene in the teaser of the film. In the teaser, Yash is shown burning cigarettes from the barrel of a machine gun in a scene. By law, if a smoking scene is shown in the film, then to prevent fans from following it, the makers are required to display an anti-smoking warning message ‘smoking is harmful to health’. But the anti-smoking warning message has not been given in the teaser and posters of Yash’s film. Accordingly, both teasers and posters encourage cigarette smoking. The notice appealed to Yash to remove the ‘KGF Chapter-2’ teaser from all social media platforms.
