Manoj Bajpayee has justified the anger of the people regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Manoj, co-actor of Sushant in ‘Sonchiriya’, said in an interview that Bollywood should take this anger of the public seriously. He also explained the reason behind this.
According to Manoj, when celebrities accept the appreciation of fans, they should also tolerate criticism. They say – If you are angry with me, then I have to ask questions. Is not it? When I say that people are right, because they are making my film a hit. Then if the same people ask questions then it becomes necessary that we answer them. The government also does the same.
Insiders vs Outsiders debate continues
On June 14, 34-year-old Sushant committed suicide in Mumbai. Since then, there has been a debate in Bollywood about Outsiders and Insiders / Star Kids. It is being claimed that outsiders are treated more stepmotherly than Star Kids and Insiders in Bollywood.
Sushant’s fans are constantly raising the issue on social media and are campaigning to boycott Star Kids and their films.
Manoj has openly praised Sushant
Recently, Manoj praised Sushant’s talent and achievements in an interview. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, he said – We all have ups and downs in life. Sushant was no different. I don’t think I am equal to them. I do not believe that I am as intelligent as him.
I don’t think I had achieved so much by the age of 34, as much as Sushant had. I believe my achievements are much smaller than theirs. This is how I remember them. I don’t just remember him as a good person.
Manoj, who has also spoken about Nepotism, in an interview, Manoj spoke on Nepotism. He had said- See the world is not fair. I have been saying for 20 years that as an industry we celebrate mediocrity. Forget the industry, as a country we celebrate the average.
There is something missing somewhere. In our thought process, in our value system. When we see talent, we immediately want to ignore it, push it back. This is our value system, which is disappointing.
