Barbie doll has been a role model for girls from childhood to growing up. Inspired by this doll, girls try not only to look beautiful but also to do good work. Therefore, from time to time, Barbie Doll Company presents well-known celebrities as dolls among the people. This year, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Barbie Doll Company has launched a doll with the appearance of Clara Ampho.
Clara Ampho is a British Radio and Television presenter and voice-over artist. She presents the Mid Morning Show to be broadcast on BBC Radio 1. Clara’s speech against racism at the time of George Floyd’s death in May 2020 was praised worldwide.
Clara is quite happy to see herself as Barbie Doll. She considers this experience a special moment in her professional life. Barbie and DJ Clara are also partners in the London project Milk Honey Seed. This project provides a platform for African girls and women to do creative work. Like this year, last year, on the occasion of International Day, Barbie Doll Company honored her by making badminton star Mansi Joshi’s doll.
