There has been a demand for a CBI inquiry into the suicide case of film actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty also wrote an emotional post demanding that Home Minister Amit Shah be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Now Lok Janshakti Party MP Chirag Paswan has also spoken to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the phone.
Chirag Paswan urged Uddhav Thackeray to get the case investigated by the CBI. According to Chirag, Uddhav Thackeray has said that the Mumbai Police is investigating the entire matter seriously. The Chief Minister assured that whenever he realizes that a CBI inquiry is needed, he will himself order an inquiry. He has tweeted that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that all the names are being discussed, Mumbai Police is calling everyone and inquiring. If found guilty, no one will be left out.
The LJP MP has said that like Sushant’s family, he will make more calls with full seriousness, and will take information regarding the progress of the investigation. Chirag also targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that it is surprising and shocking that the Chief Minister of Bihar did not take any action in the case of Sushant’s death. Chirag said that my friends from Mumbai have told me about the factionalism of Bollywood. Old people do not want any outsider to make their name.
He said that we have to get to the bottom of it. Significantly, every day new twist is coming in the case of Sushant Singh’s suicide. Mumbai Police has questioned many people associated with Bollywood. On Tuesday, Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta was questioned for hours. At the same time, Sushant’s father KK Singh has filed a complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty in Patna and demanded a probe from the Patna Police. Sushant’s father has said that he does not trust the Mumbai Police’s investigation.
Chirag, son of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, also came into politics from the film world. Chirag’s career could last only for one film. After the film’s debut, Chirag came into politics and currently represents the Jamui parliamentary seat of Bihar in the Lok Sabha.
