In Maharashtra, ‘COVID PROMOTED’ has been written in the marksheet of students of undergraduate B.Sc Agriculture. After which a new controversy has arisen in Maharashtra. After the angry response from students and political parties, Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dadaji Straw has ordered an inquiry into the case.
In the wake of the corona virus epidemic, agricultural universities in Maharashtra decided to cancel the exams of first, second and third year students. After which the marksheet given to the students has been written as ‘COVID PROMOTED’.
One student said, the exam was canceled due to corona virus. It is not our fault, writing ‘COVID PROMOTED’ in the marksheet can spoil our career.
At the same time, this matter has caught hold of it. Bharatiya Samaj Party (BJP) leader Ashish Shelar called the state government’s performance ‘bad’. He said that writing ‘COVID PROMOTED’ on the marksheet is very wrong for the students. Whereas, now Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dadaji Straw has taken “the matter of mentioning Kovid-19 on the marksheet of students of Agricultural University” seriously.
In this regard, the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research has been directed to investigate and take action against those who had ordered this writing.
