Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir hoisted the tricolor on the occasion of 74th Independence Day at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. Simultaneously, Lieutenant Governor Sinha also announced an additional ex-gratia insurance cover of 25 lakhs to the medical staff (front liner warriors, corona warriors), who are trying to save people from the corona epidemic.

The above announcement of the Lieutenant Governor will be in addition to this assistance. During this time the Lieutenant Governor recalled the sacrifices of freedom fighters and paid tribute to them.
The Lieutenant Governor referred to the government’s initiatives for the people of the state, stating that the new laws and the new reservation policy would provide refugees, hill-speaking people, sweepers, sweepers and women of Jammu and Kashmir (who are from outside the state) Weddings) will provide equality and justice. He said that the reservation policy is being made more effective and inclusive on behalf of the government.
Lt Governor Sinha said that Jammu and Kashmir is at the forefront of implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman India with 30 lakh beneficiaries.
