Pawar had overcome cancer with strong will.
NCP Chief has been known for his combative nature. A few years ago, Pawar, who was suffering from oral cancer, even told doctors that he had only 6 months left. However, on the strength of his strong will, he fought a long battle against cancer and also won it. Pawar himself says that he could win the war against cancer because his will to fight this disease was very strong. If he had given up or stopped working in this battle, cancer would have won.
