At the same time, some areas of North Coastal Andhra, West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan sub-division have also been reported as moderate risk. According to the latest update from the India Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rains in most places in coastal Karnataka and heavy rains are likely to occur over the next 24 hours at some places in interior Karnataka.
The Meteorological Department of India (IMD) has forecast strong rains in areas above and around Sambhal, Gulothi, Siana, Bulandshahar, Khurja, Noida, Barout, Baghpat, Khatauli, Amroha, Moradabad, Meerut on Wednesday morning. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted rains in Kosli, Bawal, Nuh, Sohna, Palwal, Hodal, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Ballabgarh, Faridabad and parts of Delhi for some time.

Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, North Telangana, Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may also receive light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. Light to moderate rains are possible over Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Northeast India, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Interior Karnataka and parts of Kerala. Light rains are expected at one or two places in Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.
