According to the guidelines issued by the government regarding Bakrid, mass prayers have been banned in the mosque. Apart from this, it will not be allowed to sacrifice animals in the open and carry meat in the open. Instructions have also been given to take care of communal feelings and people to follow social distancing.
What will open in unlock-3, what will remain closed
Many types of relief have been given to the people in Unlock-3 being implemented from August 1. The gym has been allowed to open from 5 August. At the same time, the night curfew has been abolished.
Cinema halls, swimming pools, amusement parks, theaters, assembly halls, yoga institutes will remain closed till further orders. Restrictions on international air travel, metro rail, religious programs will also continue. Apart from this, schools and educational institutions will also remain closed till 31 August. The lockdown in the Containment Zone will remain in force till 31 August 2020.
According to the guideline, the Independence Day programs will be organized along with social distancing and other health related protocols.
Persons over 65 years of age, patients and pregnant women will be prohibited from leaving the house without any need. Children below the age of 10 years will also remain prohibited from leaving without any need.
These shops will be open on Eid and Rakshabandhan
Keeping in mind the Bakrid and Rakshabandhan festival between 1 to 3 August, shops of sweets, bakery, animal sale and rakhi sale have been allowed to be opened from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
