Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested a big arms smuggler. The captured smuggler has been identified as Tayyab. Police have recovered 13 illegal pistols and 125 cartridges from Tayyab. Tayyab is said to be a member of an interstate gang.

According to Delhi Police, Tayyab used to bring weapons from Madhya Pradesh and sold them to miscreants in Mewat area of ​​Delhi and Haryana. The police was behind this gang for a long time. Due to this, the Delhi Police was informed that illegal weapons from Khargone, Dhar, Sendhwa and Burhan areas of Madhya Pradesh are being brought and sold in Delhi.

After this information, a team was formed in the Special Cell of Delhi Police, which started tracking the smugglers coming from Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, the police team got the news that a smuggler with a large number of illegal weapons and cartridges was going to come to Delhi. After this information, the police laid siege on Mathura Road.

Due to this vigilance, Tayyab was arrested from Mathura Road on the night of 13 and 14 July. Police recovered 13 pistols and 125 cartridges from Tayyab. During interrogation, Tayyab told the police that he has been supplying illegal weapons for the last 5 years. In particular, he has sold weapons to gangsters in Delhi and NCR.

During interrogation, it was found that earlier Tayyab used to work for a big arms smuggler of Mewat. Later, Tayyab brought arms from Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh and started selling himself. According to the police, in the last 2 years, Tayyab has supplied 400 illegal parts to the gangsters of Delhi. The police is still questioning the accused.
