Amid the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan, the MLAs of Ashok Gehlot’s camp are being shifted from Jaipur to Jaisalmer. With the Gehlot camp taking MLAs to Jaisalmer before the start of the assembly session starting on 14 August, the administrative system is expected to have an adverse effect.
Regarding the administrative system in the midst of the Corona crisis, Chief Minister Gehlot said that we are not allowing the difference in any way on governance. Chief Minister Gehlot said that he will come to Jaipur tomorrow with his ministers. Me and my ministers will stay in Jaipur. Only MLAs will remain in Jaisalmer. He said that our job is to give governance. But it is also important for us to save the government at this time.

Gehlot said that we are engaged in saving democracy. It is the Congress, which is saving democracy. He also directly attacked the central government. Describing the Bharatiya Janata Party responsible for the political crisis in the state, CM Gehlot said that the central government is engaged in destabilizing democratically elected governments.

Significantly, there has been a political upheaval in Rajasthan ever since Sachin Pilot, who was the deputy chief minister of the state Congress president and Ashok Gehlot, took rebellion with his legislators. The pilot group had demanded a change of leadership of the government, claiming that the Gehlot government was in the minority. Ashok Gehlot, claiming the support of 102 MLAs, demanded the Governor to call an assembly session. Many times the Governor rejected the proposal to call the assembly session, after which Gehlot had warned to go to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to protest.
