On the day of Krishna Janmashtami in UP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very angry about the case of power failure in many districts including the capital Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Mathura and Meerut. For this reason, investigation of this case has been entrusted to STF.
It is worth noting that CM Yogi has often been vocal in his media interviews and speeches about electricity supply. This is the reason why they themselves are serious about this incident and they have instructed to take strict action against those found guilty.
It is being told that power was disrupted in most districts of Uttar Pradesh due to a problem in the software of smart meters. Now the Yogi government has handed over the investigation to the STF, only after which it will be clear how the power of lakhs of homes was lost on the occasion of Janmashtami.
According to the information, Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma wrote a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to investigate the incident with STF, after which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister said in his statement that yesterday, while instructing the STF to investigate the matter of interrupted power supply of electricity consumers in many areas, strict action should be taken against anyone found guilty in the investigation.
Let us know that on Wednesday, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, suddenly the power of many districts was lost. People allege that the smart meters installed in the houses were operational during that time.
