There has been a demand to stop salary and allowances of Gehlot and Pilot faction MLAs in Rajasthan. A petition has been filed in the Rajasthan High Court regarding this. The petition said that the MLAs are not going to their constituencies, so why should they be given salary if they do not do legislative work.
Please tell that the MLA of Gehlot faction is in Jaisalmer and the MLA of Pilot faction is staying in a hotel in Manesar, Haryana. The Chief Minister, Assembly Speaker, Secretary and Chief Secretary have been made parties in the case. The bench of Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanti and Justice Prakash Gupta will hear the case. After the rebellion of Sachin Pilot, the Gehlot government of Rajasthan is facing a crisis. Whereas CM Gehlot had earlier accommodated his MLAs in a hotel in Jaipur, on Friday he was sent to Jaisalmer. It is believed that the legislators will remain in Jaisalmer till the commencement of the assembly session. To avoid buying and selling, Gehlot has appointed his MLAs in the hotel.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had given a statement on Thursday that horse trading has intensified since the assembly session was announced. Gehlot alleges that now the price of MLAs has gone up, he has been taunting that if a rebel wants to come back and he does not get the installment then he can come. Let us know that the assembly session in Rajasthan is to begin on August 14.
