Today, gold prices continue to fall for the fourth consecutive day of the week. Today, 24 carat gold prices have fallen by Rs 522 to 43,887 per 10 grams. Earlier on Thursday, gold had closed at Rs 44,409 per 10 grams. In the last four days, gold has become cheaper by about 1500 rupees. Gold was seen rising only on the first day of the week i.e. on Monday.
Here, silver prices are once again witnessing a big fall. Silver has fallen by Rs 1,822 to 64,805 per kg. Earlier on Thursday, the prices had closed at Rs 66,627 per kg. In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,696 an ounce, while silver was at $ 25.20 an ounce.
The surge in 18-carat gold is the rise
in prices of 18-carat gold today. In Delhi, its prices rose by Rs 467 compared to Thursday to reach 34,985 per 10 grams. On Thursday, it was priced at Rs 35,452 per 10 grams.
Future gold and silver prices
Gold delivered in April at the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 160, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 44,381 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 13,200 lots. Gold was trading 0.47% down at $ 1,692.70 an ounce in New York.
On the other hand, silver for the March delivery at the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 487, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 65,434 per kg, with a turnover of 12,658 lots. Silver was trading 0.69% down at $ 25.29 an ounce in New York.
