Hearing on Rajasthan BSP MLA case the court asked - why the petition after 6 months?

The political struggle continues in Rajasthan. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Madan Dilawar has filed a petition in Rajasthan High Court against the merger of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLAs into Congress. A hearing was held in the court on Wednesday in this case.

The petitioner’s counsel Harish Salve said that the merger of BSP MLAs is completely invalid. It is against the rule. BSP is a national party, how is its merger approved at state level? At the same time, the court asked Salve that your petition was rejected on July 28 on technical grounds. There is no merit in the case right now.

At the same time, the judge asked the BSP general secretary associated with the court proceedings, why this petition has been filed after 6 months? The judge asked Satish Mishra, who was arguing on behalf of BSP, whether the speaker had decided on merit in the matter? Now the matter will be heard again at 2 pm on Thursday. Justice Mahendra Goyal’s court is hearing the petition.

Please tell that Madan Dilawar had also filed a petition earlier in this case, which was rejected by the High Court on Monday. However, now the court is hearing a new petition. In this, the BSP petition is also attached to the case.

Earlier, BSP supremo Mayawati had said that BSP could go to court even earlier, but we were waiting for the time when Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress could be taught a lesson. We will not let this issue go. Will go to Supreme Court in this case.

These MLAs joined Congress

BSP MLAs Lakhan Singh (Karauli), Rajendra Singh Gudha (Udaipurwati), Deepchand Khedia (Kishangarh Bas), Jogendra Singh Awana (Nadbai), Sandeep Kumar (Tijara) and Wajib Ali (Nagar, Bharatpur) joined the Congress.
