India vs Australia: Australia and India hold the top two places in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) point table after the draw of the third Test match played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Indian batsmen pulled off the match on Monday on the fifth and last day of the third Test match played against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

The ICC tweeted after the match, stating, “An incredible match in Sydney has helped both teams retain the top two spots in the ICC World Test Championship table. There is a margin of 0.2 percent between India and New Zealand. ”

The ICC recently implemented the percentage system by removing the points system, because there were not many matches due to Kovid-19. New Zealand scored a maximum of 120 points after a clean sweep of the two-match Test series 2–0 against Pakistan. Apart from this, he also defeated West Indies 2–0 in a two-match Test series.

The Kiwi team is now in third place with 0.70 percentage points. India is second with 70.2 percentage points, while Australia is at the first place with 73.8 percentage points. At the end of the league, the top two WTC teams will play in the final at Lord’s in June this year.

After the third Test draw of the four-match Test series between India and Australia, both teams are 1-1 in the series. The fourth and final Test of the series will be played at the Gaba ground in Brisbane from Friday.
