Doctors at Sharda Hospital in Greater Noida have given a new life to Corona infected 105 year old Afghan woman Rabia Ahmed, who has been fighting for life and death on ventilator since 7 days. Due to the special supervision and care of the doctors, he is completely fine now.
Medical superintendent doctor of Sharda Hospital Ashutosh Niranjan said that 105-year-old Rabia Ahmed, a resident of Corona-infected Afghanistan, was admitted to Sharda on 16 July after being examined in a private hospital in Noida. When the patient was brought, he had fever, severe breathlessness and pneumonia.
Rabia was also suffering from Alzheimer’s. When she was admitted here, she could not recognize any relative.
When the patient was hit by acute respiratory disorder syndrome (ARDS), he was immediately shifted to a ventilator in critical condition.
Treatment was started under the protocols of ICMR and Sharda Hospital. Their condition started improving after ventilator support for 7 days. The untiring efforts of doctors and para medical team resulted in the patient recovering after 15 days and went home.

While going home, Rabia thanked the hospital staff and said that the entire team took care of her proper. This improved them very rapidly. Due to the doctors and staff here, she could be healthy in such a short time.

Joint Registrar of the hospital, Dr. Ajit Kumar said that this is a victory of trust. Ahmad Fawad, the grandson who came to pick up the woman, said that before Bakrid, the hospital has given him a not forgetting gift.
