Investigation has been intensified by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Rajasthan over the MLA procurement case. Rajasthan ACB team reached Manesar in Haryana on Friday morning. Rebel MLAs Bhanwarlal Sharma and Vishvendra Singh can be questioned here.
Now on Friday, ACB team reached ITC India Hotel in Manesar, after general inquiry, the team has been allowed to go inside the hotel. This team is headed by Deputy SP (ACB) Saleh Mohammed.
Bhanwarlal Sharma’s voice was claimed in the alleged audio tapes which surfaced in the MLA procurement case. Ever since, ACB, SOG teams have been waiting to get their voice samples. However, he was not given entry in the hotel.
On the other hand, in the same Rajasthan MLA procurement case, accused businessman Sanjay Jain was presented in court on Friday for taking a voice sample. Sample to be taken in Jaipur District Court here. But Sanjay Jain refused to give voice sample.
Significantly, for a long time, the team of police and SOG was trying to make inquiries, even before a team reached the hotel. But it was stopped by the Haryana Police, as well as the hotel had said that the MLAs were not present.
Actually, when the political crisis started in Rajasthan, some audio came out. The Congress alleged that in these audio, there is talk of money transaction between Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and rebel MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma. The SOG had tried to take a voice sample of the Union minister in this regard, although the minister questioned the veracity of the audio and did not give a sample.
