He also used to get a chance to join hands with the Prime Minister.
Due to the corona, open passes are not being issued for the ceremony this time. Similarly, there will be only 150 guests on either side of the ramparts. Earlier, the number of such guests was 300 to 500 every year. Now many VIPs will be seen sitting on chairs on the foreground instead of ramparts. The total number of guests has been kept around 2000.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be given the Army, Air Force and Navy Jawan Guards of Honor. There will be about 22 jawans and officers among them. At the same time, there will be 32 soldiers and officers in the national salute, along with Delhi Police personnel. Because of the Corona Protocol, these jawans will stand in four rows and uphold the social distancing rules.
This time the Corona Warriors will also be involved in the ceremony. There is a discussion that 200 Delhi Police personnel, paramilitary forces personnel and health workers can also be involved in Corona Warriors. There is talk of calling some people who have recovered from Corona. Considering the danger of Corona, this time the entire area is being sanitized well.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has conducted a corona test of the military woman officer handling the rope of Dhwajarohan at the Red Fort. In view of the safety of PM Narendra Modi, the corona test of the female military officer has been conducted. When the Prime Minister hoists the flag on August 15, he will hold the same rope that the first women military officer will handle.
