The demand for a probe by the CBI into actor Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case has intensified. Cabinet Minister Jai Kumar Singh has now demanded this in the Bihar government. Jai Kumar Singh has said that if Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray does not recommend CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput case, then Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recommend CBI inquiry.
Jai Kumar Singh said that the Mumbai Police is not helping the Bihar Police. We request Mumbai Police to cooperate with Patna Police in Sushant case. The minister said that if this does not happen, then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will conduct a CBI inquiry into the entire matter.
Jai Kumar Singh said that the Bihar government is standing with Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and to the extent that justice has to be done, Bihar government will do it.
On the matter of the Maharashtra government not asking the CBI to investigate the Sushant case, Jai Kumar Singh said that if the Patna Police says in its report that there is no support from the Mumbai Police, then Nitish Kumar will be able to take care of the entire case. The CBI will talk to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to get the investigation done.
Jai Kumar said that if despite the request of Nitish Kumar, the Maharashtra government does not recommend a CBI inquiry, then Nitish Kumar will ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk to the entire issue and get a CBI inquiry.
